Deep Tissue Massage
There are various types of deep tissue work. Deep tissue massage doesn't always mean deep pressure, rather just reaching the deeper layers of musculature. This can be done by using movements which target deeper layers, or the bodies own tissues to massage the surrounding muscles.
Both RanDee and Haley have been trained in Deep Tissue Massage while studying at East-West College. Michele also trained at COCC and through continuing education. They each integrate their own styles of deep tissue work into massage sessions.
FORCE-LINE AND NERVE COMPRESSION THERAPIES
RanDee and Haley both practice this type of deep tissue work which is a very deep, targeted form of therapy and is incredibly effective at eliminating pain. It is used to address acute and chronic pain by eliminating adhesions and restrictions deep within muscle fibers. If you suffer from pain in a specific area this therapy starts by tracing all muscles which are involved in function of that area from the spine out.
"Force line” focuses on the muscles involved in creating the movement, force or pressure of the affected area. With nerve compression work similar techniques are used to trace the route of the nerves which innervate the problem areas.
