Corrin Kalinich, RDN, LD (CDCES Eligible)
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Integrative and Functional Nutrition Provider
Hi, I’m Corrin. I’m a registered dietitian nutritionist who brings curiosity, compassion, and clinical expertise to support people in feeling more at ease in their bodies and confident in their health choices. I use a functional nutrition approach grounded in science and care, helping individuals navigate metabolic health, blood sugar regulation, gut health, and their relationship with food in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
I have over four years of experience working in outpatient settings, including private practice, telehealth, and medical fitness environments. I’ve worked with a wide range of individuals, including those managing chronic conditions, busy professionals in fast-paced careers, and people navigating financial challenges. My focus is always on meeting each person where they are and working together to create meaningful, personalized strategies.
I grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona, and earned my BS in Nutrition Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I completed my MS in Clinical Nutrition at Oregon Health and Science University, where I also taught culinary medicine and discovered my passion for outpatient counseling. My graduate research explored food insecurity among healthcare students during the COVID-19 pandemic and contributed to the development of a campus food pantry.
I’m a certified Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner and am currently studying to sit for the Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist exam. I have extensive experience with continuous glucose monitoring, motivational interviewing, and helping people apply nutrition science to their everyday lives.
Now based in Bend, Oregon, I’m excited to reconnect with my high desert roots. I enjoy competitive long distance running, cooking simple meals, and spending time outdoors. I also bring lived experience with autoimmune conditions and chronic illness, which allows me to connect more deeply with the people I support.
Clinical interests
Metabolic health, insulin resistance, diabetes care and education, gut health, disordered eating, women’s health, anti-inflammatory nutrition, and food sensitivities
