WHEN: 2024 DATES TBD
PLEASE TELL US THAT YOU'RE INTERESTED BY SENDING US A MESSAGE!
WHAT:
Join us for a 3 day retreat.
Our days and evenings together will include group sessions, activities, and plenty of time for listening and honoring.
From a very early age we receive the message that our body is wrong or a project in need of fixing. These harmful concepts from diet culture, capitalism, and other systems can keep us from fully experiencing joy, liberation, and embodiment. Together we'll explore ways to revive and heal the wise voice within you, quiet the noise of your inner critic, question or challenge oppressive systems, and begin to reclaim your right to occupy space in this world.
Join us!
WHY:

Here's what some past participants have said:
-"The most impactful aspect for me was the shared experience with the group members combined with the safe, supportive, and empowering space you helped to hold for us."-Jessica, group participant
-"The most impactful part of our group was finding new friends and a community. Not only did I create friendships with amazing, compassionate, gorgeous, kind, and spirited women but they helped me see those same qualities in myself.
I liked being able to have a check-in time and grounding time--two things I rarely do for myself. Being in a community during those times made me see how important it is to have support and share our struggles."-Kirsten, group participant
-"It made me feel less alone and more normal. My life is changing in a way that isn’t diet culture like."-group participant
-"The first night, you asked what we hoped to get out of the class. I said “peace.” And I did get that. Freedom from the endless drone of my inner critic, in particular."-group participant
-"When I realized that everyone in the group had some variation of the same story, that meant it wasn't just me. None of us had ever met, yet our backstories had frightening similarities. That's when I realized the forces moving us to "diet" were external, not anything we'd dreamed up on our own. We aren't broken; societies messages are harmful."-group participant
-"I now understand that the number on the scale is not a measure of who I am, not even close. "-Sue, group participant
-"The Body Trust workshop I attended was AMAZING! A wealth of information and inspiration to look at our old self-destructive programs and learn how to approach our bodies more lovingly!"-Aryn, webinar participant
