These are just a few of the words I think of when exploring trust.
Trust is our truest nature. We are born with it. As a young child, we never questioned our wants, needs, or motives. We never asked, “do I really want to eat?” or “do I deserve it?” We knew our body, we knew ourselves, we were able to tune in to subtle and not- subtle cues in our body and environment, then honor them—without question.
At some point, the noise of the world has gotten in the way; it’s muffled our own internal sage that says, “I’m still here, I’ve always been here. I know you better than anyone.” That voice is kind, curious, and honoring. It’s informed by satisfaction and sensations that tells us how we REALLY want to subscribe to world we live in, and how we want to eat, move, and rest while we’re here.
My practice honors body sovereignty. It’s yours, and yours alone. You get to write your own definition of what health and thriving looks like, and your story gets an unlimited number of edits.
